Tanhj
Tanhj is the world watched over by the Ice Goddess, Ijs. The area is made up of sweeping tundra, large, cold mountains and vast frozen lakes. The land has been icy since it's creation and has never had a thaw.
During it's summer season, it is cold. During it's fall season, it is colder. During it's winter season, the cold is unimaginable, a knowledge only gained from experience. The area is under constant snowfall, many a time hail and sleet. However, in this seemingly uninhabitable environment, the dwarves prosper.
Stonedark
Stonedark, the dwarven capital, is a gem in a mudslide. Hiding amongst the mountain ranges of Tanhj, it's majestic hallways and lively domiciles accommodate almost an entire race. The main halls are majestic, but the rest of the city regresses into dense, roughly hewn caves.
